Mille Lacs Scenic Byway Designation

In 2017, the East Central Regional Development Commission (ECRDC) and the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission (ARDC) partnered to complete a planning and design project for a proposed scenic byway around Mille Lacs Lake.

ARDC is a multi-disciplined planning and development organization serving the northeast Minnesota counties of Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis.
