ARDC is seeking a citizen to fill an at-large position on the Commission. The Arrowhead Regional Development Commission (ARDC) serves the people of the Arrowhead Region by providing local units of government and citizen groups a means to work cooperatively in identifying needs, solving problems, and fostering local leadership.
Minorities and individuals with a strong background or interest in areas such as transportation, human services, economic development and community planning are encouraged to apply.
The Commission meets four times a year on the third Thursday of the month in January, April, July and October at various locations in the Region for approximately three hours.
These positions are unpaid, volunteer positions; however, members are reimbursed for their mileage to and from meetings. Applicants must reside in Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake or St. Louis County.
